Zabola Estate - Transylvania - Zăbala

Located in Zabala, in a picturesque area 6 km from Covasna, Zabola Estate - Transylvania is a guesthouseon a 500 hectares private domain, including a meadow and a forest. It features 2 lakes, 4 fishing ponds, hiking and horse riding facilities, as well as a sauna.

The individually designed rooms feature private bathrooms and overlook the garden. Baby cots, provided for a surcharge, feature linen sheets.

The property, owned by a noble Transylvanian family, consists of a castle dating back to the 16th century and 4 annex buildings. Free WiFi is available inareas. It provides 7 dining areas, 2 outside, 2 on the terraces and 3 indoors. The dining and the drawing rooms are located in the old stables, 250 meters from the main building, on the other side of the pond. Further facilities at Zabola Estate - Transylvania include a garden with a children’s playground.

An a la carte restaurant is featured. Breakfast in bed can be provided for an extra charge. Foods and drinks can be also enjoyed in your room, in the the seasonal pavilion in the woods, or in the private park.

Various activities can be arranged, including bear watching, horse carriage tours or wildlife watching. Private parking is available on site, free of charge. Zabola Estate - Transylvania is 1-hour drive from Lake Sfanta Ana, the only volcanic lake in Romania.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 11:00.

The Old Saddlehouse. This house features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room with a fireplace decorated with the family crest. It is located close to the gate of the castle park. The dining rooms are in the main building and meals are served there. ;
The Brick Room. The Brick Room features a walk-in double shower with glass panels in the room. Ground floor in the Machine House. With an open fireplace, free standing bath tub in the middle of the room, dining table and private garden sitting area. ;
The Green Room. Overlooking the garden, the Green Room is located on the ground floor, and features a free standing bath tub, a large fireplace, and a walk-in double shower with glass panels in the room. Overlooking the garden, the Green Room is located on the ground floor of the Machine House. ;
The Blue Room. Overlooking the garden, the Blue Room is west-oriented and it is located on the ground floor. It features a historical, ceramic free standing bath tub, including a book and a glass holder, and a walk-in double shower in the room. You can get comfortable and taste a small red wine selection that you will find stored under the floor, next to the fireplace. The king size bed is fitted with a hypoallergenic mattress. Overlooking the garden, the Blue Room is west-oriented and it is located on the ground floor of the Machine House. ;
